One of the characteristics of trimix is that it must stay refrigerated. That often presents a problem for patients who travel regularly, who are planning vacations or who have active mobile lifestyles. Who wants to constantly carry ice packs containing medicine?
American Pharmacy Solutions, your full service compounding pharmacy, has developed an alternative form of trimix which does not have to be refrigerated. We provide the patient with a unique powdered form of trimix. Sterile water which we provide, is added to the powder at time of use. The powdered trimix returns to its liquid form and is self-injected as usual.
Because TriMix for Travel™ does not need refrigeration, active mobile patients can now leave their ice packs home and more easily travel with their medicine. TriMix for Travel™ is available with a prescription from a physician.

For Prescribers: TriMix for Travel™ is commonly prescribed for erectile dysfunction, formerly referred to as impotence. It has been prescribed to patients who failed phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5) such as Viagra®, Levitra® and Cialis®.
For Patients: Erectile Dysfunction or ED may be a symptom of other medical conditions such as high cholesterol, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, low testosterone, tobacco use, clogged blood vessels (atherosclerosis), alcoholism, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, surgery or injury to the spinal cord or pelvic area and certain treatments for prostate cancer and enlarged prostate. TriMix-gel® uses the same ingredients as trimix liquid for injection. The difference is the active ingredients are in powder form. The powder is mixed with a medicated gel at time of use and then applied at the tip of the penis. There is no needle.
TriMix-gel® uses a novel methodology. At time of use, the patient uses an “All-In-One” application device (pat. pending) that stores, mixes, and applies the medicine. The patient does not need a needle for self-injection. Also, TriMix-gel® does not have to be refrigerated.
